Who we are?
Our registered charity “Notruf Ukraine – Polizisten
helfen e.V.” (“Charity-call Ukraine policemen are helping
regd charity") was founded by setting the goals in sponsoring gadgets/appliances
and materials to public institutions and authorities in the Ukraine. So
that´s why we organize in our spare time relief actions and transports
into the region of Gaisin/Ukraine since 1998. Gaisin is a 50,000 inhabitants
city and strongly disregarded last years cause of its bad geopolitical
place.
The hospital there has got its problems to bear the costs
of water and energy out of its yearly budget. Corresponding to that the
whole hospital equipping including instruments and gadgets are absolete
and used up. Furthermore we are helping a home for deaf and speech disordered
children. The public administration and local firebrigade could be provided
with aid too.
In 2005 we started the relief action to
the “Cancer- Clinic” in the administrative district Vinitsya,
comparable with the provincial capital of that region. That´s an
unequal larger challenge to our charity, its membership number is rising
up over 128 and we are operating nationwide in Germany.
How do we organize a transport of relief?
To start a transport of relief there are a lot of jobs
to do before. First we contact well-known and still want to get new invinced
sponsors and donators. So just in this way we want to use our multilingual
homepage to get in contact with private persons, enterprises and organizations
and to get them sensitized for our mission. Everyones helping hand, everyones
Euro or amount is needed to pick up medical equipping, clothes and shoes,
school documents and papers, office equipment and furniture, sick-beds
and more and to store it all until the next transport to the Ukraine.
Again and again twice a year that transport of relief
is a very special logistic challenge. Most important of all is the putting
up of vehicles at our disposal to bring all the donations to the Ukraine.
Our those in need: they do don´t live just right around the corner!
The normal distance from here to them is about 1,600 km via two state
borders. By the way it´s every time again a proof of trust that
many enterprises show in giving their vehicles free of charge into our
hands to move the donations that long way to help the people in Gaisin
and Vinitsya. That´s why at this place all of us say THANK YOU SO
MUCH!
People, vehicles and donations are in safe hands during
the whole transport. Daytimes we drive in convoy and we sleep by nights
safe in fenced police areas and stations. So in our mission we built up
friendly terms with our colleagues along the route of transport.
What can YOU do?
The complete transport of relief could not be able to
carry out without all those sponsors and donators, without YOUR sponsoring.
YOUR donations of money, clothes and equipments and YOUR vehicle are the
basis for all our relief actions.
This way we heartily want to thank you for your readiness
for use and it is to be hoped that we are together going on sending couples
of humanitarian aid into this inadequate region. The people in Gaisin
feel our help and YOU can be sure, that all YOUR donations will be brought
to these people in need with a minimum of administrative expenses –
right into the right hands.
At present we are collecting for buying another one ambulance
more. We just collected part of the 6,000 € we need – but we
still need an amount: It´s still not enough! If YOU want to help
us and the people in Gaisin and Vinitsya, please simply contact our charity.
All of us would be very happy about every cent and €
